Epiphany School 5th Grade Graduation Party

What an amazing party at a parent of a graduate of Epiphany Elementary School this weekend, June 16, 2017 – Moments Captured Photo Booth, karoake DJ, an ice cream truck, basketball, ping pong, and Qdoba catering! It was such a delight to see the tight knit group of kids at Epiphany…their amazing personalities shown through in the photo booth and on the microphones!

Lynnwood High School Prom 2017

I don’t remember too much about my prom but I can tell you it wasn’t as fun as the Lynnwood High School Prom that I had the honor of being a part of on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Rosehill Community Center in Mulkiteo, WA. The venue alone was gorgeous with a sunset view over the water. Dancing to the tunes spun by DJ Janie Kelly, the young ladies and gentleman were dressed elegantly and classy and seemed to have a great time.

PCNA Nurses Week Banquet 2017

I had the honor of doing the Pierce County Nurses Association (PCNA) Nurses Week Banquet again this year. As always it was an amazing event with wonderful food, silent auction, awards and keynote speakers. I also had a great honor of meeting the oldest working nurse in Tacoma, 92 years young, who is just now retiring – she graduated in 1947 around the time Penicillin was discovered. She was still an OR nurse! She was adorable and amazing and all the nurses treated her like royalty.

I love nurses so I was so honored to be around such amazing men and women who make a difference in so many lives. Such a noble career and they were appropriately celebrating the past; Honoring the Past is what they called the event.

Check out the video and the images below that show the fun that was had!

Eli’s Bar Mitzvah

When my friend, whose son is good friends with my son, asked if I could do the photo booth for their son, Eli’s, Bar Mitzvah, I was so honored and privileged to be considered, of course I said yes! I wanted to be able to give them the best photo booth experience and memory I knew they could get and I knew Moments Captured Photo Booth could deliver on that. First of all, it was an amazing Bar Mitzvah…a sports-themed event held at the Foundry in the SODO area of Seattle. The ceremony and the reception was held at the event. One of my favorite DJs, Sound Source Seattle, was there to provide games and excitement for all the kids while keeping the entire place jumping with music and dance. Solomon Events did an amazing job from the details of the staff and servers wearing referee shirts to the popcorn bar, candy table, smore’s and donut dessert table, and an area for the adults to play while the kids were entertained by foosball, pop-a-shot, basketballs, dancing and games. Every room in the Foundry was alive with laughter, joy, and excitement. They had a video room so people could provide testimonials to Eli with their favorite memories or wishes of congratulations. Of course, the photo booth and swag of Strideline socks, water bottles, and bags were also highlights of the evening. Check out the video for the creative sports décor and clear enjoyment of all the guests. I had the pleasure of meeting both sides of Eli’s extended families and I was so impressed by their warmth, inclusion, kindness and hilarity that I instantly wanted to be adopted…just putting it out there.  Thank you, Eli family for allowing us to be a part of such a memorable event!

DANISE Wedding 2017

I was so honored to be a part of such a unique and lovely wedding reception at Novelty Hill Januik Winery in Woodinville. Denise, the bride, has an incredible eye for design….when I first walked into the dining room, I was amazed at the elegance and simplicity but true unique décor of the room. Rather than have large centerpieces, she had a simple arrangement on the table but an amazing display of bud vases and tulips above each table with clear acrylic chairs and tea lights to illuminate the clear surfaces – the whole room shimmered. Check out the video for this stunning display. Not surprising, the bride herself was dressed simply but elegantly and every picture taken of her was just gorgeous…the joy and love of this amazing couple was obvious.

The tasting room was alive with appetizers and award-winning wine as well as classic music played by Bugsie Productions.  Alex Chalk of Taylordevents was a wonderful event planner to work with and organized a memorable reception.

Check out the video to see the décor, fun, and silliness at the photo booth.
